charming stay with excellent service
friendly staff stylist decor great vibe
The friendly staff was very attentive and professional! i found the decor really stylist, and the rum bar was a great surprise. It has a great vibe. the location is quiet but close to the latin quarter with lots of bars and restaurants. i really enjoyed the pool and sauna, a lovely treat for a city hotel

underwhelming stay
small room unavailable wifi
the breakfast was acceptable.
i was disappointed with the room size it felt cramped. also, the promised wifi was completely unavailable . this lack of internet access caused significant roaming charges.

restricted pool lukewarm sauna
The pool required advance reservations for only 45 minutes. The staff also seemed a bit put out when I tried to book time at the pool (maybe they were having a bad day?). I found the sauna wasn't hot enough. It was merely lukewarm. The restaurant being permanently closed was also inconvenient, as I couldn't grab a bite at the place.

The staff provided WONDERFUL service, particularly during check-in. I upgraded to a beautiful roomwith a beautiful balcony and a bathtub. This room, called the beautiful room.
the bar had a limited selection, only offering rum as the primary spirit.

mixed feelings about this stay
cold pool annoying noise
The pool was quite cold. They couldn't even tell me its temperature! the whole spa experience was a letdown. there were strange noises in my room, like a generator needing repair. It was so annoying. it kept me awake at night. We loved the bed, but this was not ok.
